GREG COLLIER, PhD

Dr. Collier has more than 20 years experience spanning commercial, operational, clinical and scientific aspects of pharmaceutical research and development, and is a regular invited speaker at international research and biotechnology conferences. Under Dr. Collier’s guidance ChemGenex has aggressively focused on the company’s progression to the clinic and eventual marketing approval of lead agents. Dr. Collier has a detailed understanding of both the developmental and managerial drivers of value in the biotech industry, and has overseen an international merger, a listing on NASDAQ and several substantial capital raisings. Dr. Collier has a PhD in biochemistry from Monash University and is the co-inventor of 33 patents and co-author of more than 120 scientific publications.
JAMES CAMPBELL, PhD, MBA
Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Campbell joined ChemGenex in 2002 as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary in May 2009. He has more than 20 years of international experience in scientific research, research management, management consulting and venture capital. Dr. Campbell held research positions at the CNRS and the CSIRO, and after completing an MBA worked for the international management consultancy Booz and Company. Dr. Campbell later joined the University of Melbourne, where he was instrumental in the spin-out of four biotechnology companies. Dr. Campbell has sat on the investment committees of several biotechnology venture capital funds and is a member of a Victorian state government biotechnology advisory committee.
THOMAS DeZAO
Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer
Mr. DeZao has more than 25 years of drug sales and marketing experience and a significant track record of achievement with several pharmaceutical companies who have launched innovative products in the U.S. oncology market. Most recently, Mr. DeZao spent six years at Genitope Corporation as Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Sales, where he created a solid foundation for the commercialization of the MyVax® Personalized Immunotherapy for the treatment of follicular non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (f-NHL). Prior to joining Genitope, Mr. DeZao was the Vice President of Marketing and Medical Affairs at Corixa/Coulter Pharmaceuticals Inc, where he played a pivotal role in the highly successful collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline to develop and launch BEXXAR®. Previously Mr. DeZao held commercial positions of increasing responsibility with Asta Medica Inc. and Chiron Corporation.
ADAM R. CRAIG MD, PhD, MBA
Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Craig leverages more than 15 years of clinical, oncology, management and drug development experience to direct ChemGenex’s global clinical development strategies and to lead ChemGenex’s clinical development and translational medicine team. Dr. Craig has extensive expertise in building and managing clinical teams focused on product registration, with particular experience in developing therapies for hematologic malignancies such as chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Most recently, he was Vice President and founding Chief Medical Officer at Innovive Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an oncology and hematology drug development company based in New York. Previously, Dr. Craig held positions of increasing responsibility including Vice President and Medical Director at ArQule Inc., Senior Director at Ilex Oncology Inc., and Medical Advisor at Antisoma plc. Dr. Craig received his medical qualifications from London University, a PhD in molecular medicine at the University of Leeds, and an MBA from the Open Business School, in the United Kingdom. Dr. Craig is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and undertook post-graduate training in pediatrics and pediatric oncology.
