We use genotyping, gene expression analysis, proteomic assays, informatic and screening tools throughout discovery and preclinical development to validate novel targets and predict toxicities at the genome/proteomic level both in vitro and in vivo. Chemotyping™, our chemical genomics technology, utilizes expression array profiling, coupled with unique cellular screening assays, to quickly identify biochemical pathways affected by the test drugs. This strategy should allow us greater confidence in choosing the drug hits to advance to clinical compounds.

Evaluation and prediction of a drug’s potential side-effects and other critical pharmacological measures can be assessed at the level of normal organ systems and target disease tissues, from traditional toxicology endpoints to real-time evaluation of gene expression.
