CGX-571-SOCA-101: Phase 1/2a open-label study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of intravenous administration of amonafide dihydrochloride (Quinamed®) in the treatment of patients with hormone refractory prostate cancer who are refractory or resistant to docetaxel. The phase 2a trial seeks to confirm potential for dosing based on prospective genotyping of NAT2 genotype status.

This trial was expanded in September 2005 to include breast and ovarian cancer patients patients with refractory tumors.
